I have been fascinated with photography for a few years now. I started on my husband's old Olympus OM10 taking photos of flowers around the garden. I was quickly hooked and purchased my own digital camera, a little 1MP Dolphin. That was the beginning of the end for me. I preferred the OM10 still, and (via a few other cameras) eventually upgraded to my Olympus E-300 Digital SLR. I'm hoping (some day) for an upgrade to a better body, but content myself in the meantime with having some very good lenses instead.

I do mainly nature photographs when I'm playing around, but really enjoy doing portraits and fashion shots.

I'm an ex-teacher living in North Shore City, Auckland. I've got a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English, a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary), Diploma of Freelance Photography and a Diploma of Proofreading, Editing & Publishing. I dabble in PHP and MySQL.

I love my cat (Chester), my birds (Nimbus and Cirrus) and my husband (he loves being listed last, really he does). I'm an avid snowboarder, skiier, ice skater, poi and staff spinner (especially if they're on fire), swimmer, reader, writer, crafts person, tech freak, photographer, along with many other things.
