My name is Miriam Laidlaw and I'm an ex-teacher living in North Shore City, Auckland. I've got a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English, a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary), Diploma of Freelance Photography and a Diploma of Proofreading, Editing & Publishing. I dabble in PHP and MySQL.

I love my cat (Chester), my birds (Stratus, Venus, Daiquiri, and a quail) and my husband (he loves being listed last, really he does). I'm an avid snowboarder (hence the neck brace in the photo - woops!), skiier, ice skater, poi and staff spinner (especially if they're on fire), swimmer, reader, writer, crafts person, tech freak, photographer, along with many other things.
